Word Meaning: Play

The poster design aimed to convey energy and motion, reflecting cultural associations with “play.” Depth and movement were suggested through offset shapes, angled text, arrows, and strategic color placement, guiding the viewer’s eye. While play is typically represented with bright, vibrant colors, the limited three-color palette required creative adaptation to preserve the intended meaning. The “multiply” function was used to simulate color blending, allowing for expanded visual variety while maintaining the palette’s constraints.
